Hims: Announcement from Novo Nordisk?

$NOVO B (+1,06%) Ozempic and Wegovy is offered through Costco with a price tag of $499, still more expensive than Hims' $199 offering.

Of course this is bad news, but the market is growing and it still can't be served properly...

In addition $HIMS (-8,64%) not only GLP-1 I always normalize these sales from my analyses!

However, HIMS are compounded versions with dose variation and these are not recommended by the FDA and there is even a warning that impurities could occur. In terms of liability, even doctors can be held responsible, as well as the pharmacy and the laboratory. All very complicated compared to tested products from Novo and ELi Lilly. Personally, I don't see the grits from HIMS as a direct competitor to NOVO, but as a kind of TEMU for medicines. There have already been deaths in the USA. Of course, everything has yet to be proven, but when preparations are offered so cheaply, the quality usually suffers. If the regulators turn to telehealth providers regarding liability, then good night HIMS.
