There’s something to that. My portfolio has been going for a year now. It keeps growing day by day. The joy of realizing you’re not so stupid after all—and that you can actually grow your capital this way—is so great that you want to share it. You talk to others who are just as invested and exchange ideas. At some point, though, you reach a point where you realize that others just find the topic annoying. Since I’ve realized that and have fewer people to talk to about it, I’ve calmed down. But it doesn’t change my ambition or the joy I feel in watching my portfolio grow.

@Andreas You keep your ambition high when you talk about it only with people who want it themselves and see things the same way you do. You can tell whether someone is on board or not. Many people don’t associate investing with companies or passion, but rather with money, greed, or other things… and that changes the way people view you. Sometimes positively, but more often negatively… that’s my opinion.
