@Multibagger if that's the case, yes, but it's just not that simple, because it's already not going to pay off in the end and with the high percentage of obesity in the USA, it will be difficult to implement in terms of costs, plus the lobby will have a say here and each state will partly cook its own porridge. All joking aside. I always think a little further ahead when it comes to things like this. Let's say the companies have to cut prices by 30%. The number of users doubles as a result of the state taking over, or partially taking over, the costs. That means 40% more profit for the companies involved. That means 40% more taxes.
But that's probably too much economic thinking
