Commercial-scale application on 12 hectares of Medjool date palms in Arizona

Here is an official statement from $DSRT (-22,12%) ; I remain invested.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New, production-optimized system demonstrates high performance under

demanding field conditions in Somerton, Arizona.

Sandnes, Norway, July 13, 2026 – Desert Control (OSE: DSRT), a leading company in the field of soil and

water conservation technology, announces that its next-generation production facility

has successfully completed the application of liquid natural clay (LNC) to 12 hectares

of Medjool date palms in Somerton, Arizona. The project marks the first large-scale

field deployment of the new system and is a significant milestone in

Desert Control’s transition from prototype development to mass production.

The next-generation production system is based on a new, production-optimized

system configuration designed for manufacturability, improved efficiency,

modularity, and a small footprint. The system was developed for high production capacity and

use under demanding operating conditions and

significantly increases the efficiency of the LNC application compared to previous models. It serves

as Desert Control’s base configuration for future systems and enables the

company to adapt its production fleet to the growing demand from customers and

licensees.

In Somerton, the unit met specifications under hot, dry, and sandy field conditions

. The deployment provides an early, real-world

demonstration of the system’s performance and reliability on a commercial scale—a

crucial step for Desert Control in expanding its delivery capacity in the American

Southwest.

LNC, a proprietary soil-improvement technology, helps sandy, rapidly draining soils

retain water and nutrients more effectively. This reduces irrigation needs and

promotes healthier plant growth. In date cultivation, where trees grow under arid

conditions on sandy desert soils, improved water retention in the root zone

can directly support tree health and long-term productivity while reducing water consumption. Somerton therefore offers ideal conditions for demonstrating the performance

of the new device. “The field deployment of our next-generation production system and its performance at a commercial scale are two of the most important milestones on our path to scaling Desert Control,” said James Thomas, CEO of Desert Control. “I remain encouraged by the scope and quality of our pilot projects and believe that the validation of this production unit comes at the right time as we look forward to what we hope will be a busy season of commercial applications.” Additional next-generation units are planned to meet broader commercial demand.

Introduction of LNC technology. The successful implementation marks an important step

in Desert Control’s commercialization strategy and demonstrates the operational

readiness and scalability required to meet growing customer demand.

I always kind of thought that the whole point of date palms was that they grow in the desert 😁

@jkb92 You never stop learning :)

Yes, date palms grow exceptionally well in the desert, but only in certain places. They need a constant supply of water for their roots. That’s why they thrive mainly in oases or in regions with artificial irrigation, where they’re considered the “bread of the desert.” The trees have a special waxy coating that protects them from extreme heat and dehydration.

@jkb92 Good evening: I'd like to be cryopreserved in the U.S. for 100 years because I believe in advanced technological facilities. I just need some help making that happen.

@growth_ninja_vkdmy Go buy a big freezer. 😬 All joking aside, I've never looked for stocks in that sector.
@jkb92 Let's spend the evening together. My goal is to use cryopreservation to look younger than my ex-girlfriend.
@jkb92 Maybe I should get myself cloned too, like in the movie *The Dictator* 😂

I'll stay on board too—thanks for the update.

Thanks for the tip—I just jumped in, albeit with a modest three-digit amount. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a stock that’s impressed me so much in terms of ethics, morality, and sustainability. THAT alone makes it worth the risk; we’ll just have to wait and see how things play out here. And if it doesn’t work out, at least it was a trial run that gave me a moral boost. By the way, ChatGPT estimates a success rate of 8–10 percent. That’ll have to do for now. :)

@ZaphodB Well, I’d say it’s about 10–20% important—for now, the main thing is to get all the financial stuff sorted out by 2027. If the projects get off to a good start, then 2027 will be a good year :) Venture capital, not an investment.

But it’s nice that the stock appeals to you, at least morally and ethically.

Welcome aboard

The market doesn't seem to care

@Tobi60 Yep, there was a capital increase, and I couldn't care less—I don't expect real growth until 2027 at the earliest. Right now, they're scaling up in the U.S. market.

As I already wrote in the introduction, this company will either go bankrupt at some point, get acquired, or see a return of more than 1,000%.

Ouch... Capital increases at companies like these are always met with particularly negative reactions

@Stocktective Yeah, but it was to be expected—it was announced, and I voted for it myself.

@Raketentoni How and where were you able to vote?
1
immagine del profilo
@Da_Fischi I received an email from my broker saying that there was a link to the online vote in my inbox in case I couldn’t participate.
I read it—everything that was written there—and agreed to it. I have a 5-digit number of shares; I don’t know if there’s a minimum position size required.
With Saxo, I generally get everything directly—whether to reinvest immediately when capital measures are pending, etc.

@Raketentoni OK, thanks. I haven't received anything like that from TR 🤔

I got out a couple of weeks ago. I’d already taken some pretty big losses. But it’s a great company. I first got my hands on a study about the product in Egypt back in 2019, and I jumped in pretty much right after the IPO. I hope things turn around eventually. It would actually be a game-changer, and I’d love to buy back in. But I think there’s still a long way to go.

I invested a four-figure amount last time or the time before that, too. Maybe I should have checked the news beforehand—so I was a little surprised by the drop in the stock price today. 😆

@Raketentoni I could cry. I got back on track this morning. And now this

@Sebbster Oh, and I'm not complaining—I exercised my subscription rights and am now getting the same number again for 0.37 NOK 😂
@Raketentoni I should have done my research better.

@Sebbster Don't panic—stay calm. I don't see us turning a profit here until 2027 at the earliest. This is a gamble. You'll have to mentally write that money off. Let's talk again in a year 😬
