@Charmin This is the first increase in over 10 years and is to be spread over 4 years. That makes 35% seem like a joke compared to inflation.

@Staatsmann I see that the current collective agreement has been in force for 16 years (depending on the source). Okay, that's different, of course. But: How can it be that people have kept their feet still for 10 years (or 16, depending on the source)?

@Charmin The way I read it, the union decided not to take industrial action because of Boeing's economic situation and, moreover, the level of organization among the workforce was supposedly very low for a long time.
