Nvidia ($NVDA (+3,67%) ) is planning to set up a new unitunit that will focus on developing customized chips for cloud computing companies and others, including "advanced AI processors".

The company is in talks with major cloud computing companies as well as with Ericsson ($ERIC A (+0,76%) ) to design "customized chips" for "wireless infrastructures". Nvidia's new unit is expected to find use in the automotive, video games and telecommunications find.
