Good evening everyone,

there $PLTR (+4,96%) and $NVDA (-0,35%) (despite several sales) have taken over my portfolio weighting to such an extent, I wanted to ask the group what you think about your tea share.

Tech now accounts for around 57% of my share portfolio. I read an insta post today that the younger you are, the less of a problem tech overweighting should be - the only question I have is what a normal overweighting is.

I would be very interested in your opinions :)

Do nothing, just let it run its course. You have two companies that are very good, don't worry, even if they make up almost 60% of your portfolio. Just sit tight. In addition, a monthly savings plan in a cheap world or S&P 500/MSCI USA ETF and let your money work.

I agree with Dukke, don't get nervous, these are good companies that still have a lot of potential.

Honestly
With only 57% tech, I would also be worried if I were you
In my opinion, more in tech because the future, as in the past, will be written with big tech and not with a local ice cream parlor.
I currently have 82% of my portfolio in NVIDIA and 94% in tech.
Think about history and who writes it
Is it a Henkel share, for example, or rather a US tech share such as NVIDIA or google msft etc.?

@HansDampfderAktionaer That's exactly how it is, I couldn't have described it better.

If your investment horizon is still a long way off, do as @Dukke recommends. My situation is different.

@Investor-College your list of investment segments.

@useref748d772fc84f3e Is that relevant? This is how the sectors are named according to the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). You are welcome to use the German terms if you feel more comfortable with them.

Personally, I have reduced my tech holdings, especially in the USA. They have done very well in the last few decades because they were heavily undervalued for a long time and were therefore able to achieve an enormous performance. However, most of them are now completely overvalued and should therefore be sold rather than bought ;)
