I also hold a larger position there, it has been a pleasant experiment so far. Please don't write dividends, because this is not one, otherwise it could lead you down the wrong track

@Dividendenopi hmm, it is credited to me monthly with a deduction of 30% tax-free on the total amount, ends up in my FSA except for the 30% mentioned, so I call it a dividend 🤷‍♂️😉

Or how do you see it?
@SAUgut77 These are mainly premiums from call options, not dividends.

@SAUgut77 the option profits are distributed and lead to your return.

@Dividendenopi everything is correct so far, but my FSA doesn't make a big distinction, so it's in "dividends" and Getquin probably doesn't lie about the monthly declared (dividend) payments 😉🫠😅

Or will we soon get interest and option credits displayed here too 🤷‍♂️

@Dividendenopi I am also on board with a manageable amount. But I would set a stop loss. I don't think the ETF will fully recover after a "crash" with the covered call strategy. What do you think?

@SAUgut77 Let's just call it yield 😇🤭 and for classic stocks it's the dividend yield.

@FamilyFinance It has fully recovered from the setback at the beginning of August, but in the case of a longer-term downward trend this can be worse. A stop is worth considering, I would personally also set one if a longer downward movement develops in order to limit losses

would you say it is worth setting up a savings plan for this?

@Paul-M No from my point of view. The fluctuations - so far - are too small. Experience will show in the future whether this could make sense. My strategy is to generate cash flow; there are plenty of better and more suitable ETFs for growth. This form is considerably riskier, but so far there have been decent returns when prices have moved sideways. I would rule out a total loss on the downside, but the upside is also capped by the structure of the ETF. It is an addition, not suitable for buy and hold

@Paul-M depends on the amount... is clearly intended as an admixture and should not make up a huge proportion of the PF. Ideally, it should also generate cash flow for me and not block it, so that it makes sense in my strategy.
So I bought a little and only slapped mini savings plans on top to keep the level up, so to speak
