Mh aren't you both too emotionally attached to a share? That sounds more like a love story than investing.
PS: I would never buy Nike shoes 😅. I only have NewBalance and Reeboks 🔥

@Tobi60 When it comes to consumer brands, I think that "feeling" is an important aspect. We are probably emotionally connected to the brand. Personally, I just find - probably due to my bubble, of course - that Nike has a very strong consistency, due to the culture, and not like New Balance, which was/is simply a trend in recent years, although NB in particular has also caught up a lot in basketball culture. But branding is of course very individual, and everyone buys what they feel ;)

@Robinhodl But investing should not be about feelings, only facts and figures. But yes, you won't go wrong with Nike and Adidas in the long term, but I don't think they'll be return machines either. Better to invest in an ETF

I think it's a bit too emotional, I'm not an expert on brands and sports apparel
Sure, what's the difference? Adidas Puma Reebok NB , and there are enough new brands for all the hipsters and TikTokers
And whether Nike supports the German national team or not, I don't know if that helps

@Tobi60 Adidas is, in my opinion, the soccer/European equivalent, but with a similarly strong culture. Nike made the management mistake of putting an e-com dude at the top, but that should now be history.
