@Der_Dividenden_Monteur Yes, I've already read that too. But if I need and order a new battery, I don't want any extras that I haven't booked and am expected to pay for.
@Koenigmidas I find that funny too. I once had to rely on ADAC (2016, but luckily they had a suitable battery with them). In any case, they didn't even try to give me oil... that would have been even nicer 😅
I would ask nicely what the background was. And whether anyone had given their consent beforehand.
@KevinE yes in 2019 I was in my old home town for service I had asked at the time if they could use a different oil (a friend recommended it to me) as I was still under warranty I wanted to have it done at a Seat workshop. After a long discussion, they charged 500euros for the oil change and then wrote down their own oil in the service book.
@Der_Dividenden_Monteur After that, I never went back to the garage. And before that, when I bought my car and had my first damage, I had a drama every time. Revenge for the cheap offer
