The IOTA Foundation has been promising the moon since 2017, but simply not delivering - until Wednesday of this week. That's when the test network actually went $SMR (+6,71%) in which new functions such as smart contracts for the IOTA network can be tested in the future.

In doing so, they were able to purchase coins over the entire staking period for 1 $MIOTA (+1,51%) approx. 0.75 $SMR (+6,71%) for 1. Currently $SMR (+6,71%) is traded for about 0.5 USD. For the boomers here, this corresponds to a "dividend" of 3-4%, based on the "ex-dividend" day of IOTA 😉.
Even if the staking period for $SMR (+6,71%) has expired, you can $MIOTA (+1,51%) can still be staked for another token, Assembly. This token is supposed to bring DeFi and Co into the IOTA network, but is currently struggling with funding problems.
