Of this 6,7 billion dollars is attributable to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning business from Johnson Controlsthe remainder to a joint venture between Johnson and Hitachi, which produces air conditioning systems systems.
The contracts have already been signed, and Bosch plans to finalize the deal to close the deal within twelve months.
Bosch CEO Stefan Hartung emphasized that this acquisition will give the company a leading market position in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology.
