Current account $INGA (+0,71%)

I have opened a current account with ING and have now convinced my wife to transfer our joint account there.

The website says that it's free if you receive more than €700.

My question: Does it have to be salary, pension or similar, e.g. I pay €1000 a month into it, does that also count towards it being free?

Maybe someone knows about this, I can't find anything on the site.

Greetings Dirk

Every bank has a "List of prices and services" for this purpose.
This states "Free of charge for incoming money of at least €700 per calendar month". The corresponding asterisk text then states "'Excluded are securities transactions, own transfers and credits from the booking of return debits."

This means that it is not free if you transfer money yourself.

Funny... @DerMartin is right, I just looked it up myself.
But it's interesting that @KevinC doesn't pay anything. What could be the reason for that?
I did the same with my wife.

Joint account:
Current account with Visa card on top and overnight money for fixed costs

Incoming money is enough, it doesn't have to be my salary. I transfer money and that's it (note, transfer from another bank). We have a current card (my wife) and 2 visas.
They charge 99ct per month for the debit card

They let you pay more money each year for less service , in my opinion
