@leveragegrinde The problem with the technology is that it already had to be integrated during the production of PET bottles etc., so it's a bit cumbersome. 😭

@CoreSatellite There are 2 approaches:
Add the enzymes to the plastic products during production so that they compost after a while.
Or collect normal plastic and use the enzymes to break it down and recycle it -> the advantage here is that, according to Carbios, you can do this as often as you like without the quality of the plastic deteriorating after enzymatic recycling.
Normal recycling cannot be done as often as you like, as the quality deteriorates slightly each time
