Is it worth getting the $IWDA (-0,9%) now?

Since the rate cut is on, do you think it will be a bit cheaper?

Thanks for helpful answers

If I knew that, I'd already be filthy rich😅 If you want to invest for the long term, it's always the right time to buy a World ETF.

@Playrio Thank you🥲
Thought that there may be historical background that when an interest rate cut is planned, the price or rises or falls.

@Wiktor_06 As a rule, high-risk investments such as shares become more interesting when lower-risk investments such as overnight money, bonds, etc. yield lower returns. On the other hand, the interest rate cut is currently already priced in and prices are at a relatively high level in my view. Disappointment potential is at least possible. As I said, nobody can know.

MSCI World always works. This one could also be interesting because with a TER of 0.12 it is cheaper than ishares: $SPPW

I share the view of my fellow commentators. The MSCI or FTSE All World is a bet on the global economy. Interest rate movements will not have a major immediate impact for the time being

If you want to make money by speculating on interest rate changes, an ETF on the MSCI World is the worst possible investment. There are companies that profit from it, companies that lose from it and, of course, companies where it doesn't matter. That's why this is the broad market.

For better or worse, you will have to resort to individual stock bets. In this respect, of course, you also have to consider whether you are smarter than the rest and buy these stocks before the profit is priced in. ^^
