If it comes to that, it's already a strong number. Using lobbying to influence a law that is likely to trigger a boom in the next few years and thus increase the value of the company in the short term. If then in a few years locations / plants (in Germany) are closed it was the Americans and not the family Viessmann. Whether the whole thing is worthwhile for $CARR, remains to be seen. With the purchase price and the increasing competition, I have my doubts. Perhaps they are also a little afraid that a Chinese group could take hold of Viessmann.
