@KonradM Yes, that will be really exciting! Elon and Robert F. could definitely bring a breath of fresh air to the markets. But especially in times like these, it's important to stay calm and back strong companies like UnitedHealth. It usually pays off in the long term. Let's see what the next few years bring!

@PaulRoessler I am not invested in the sector, but I take a critical view of the whole thing. Why? Because of Robert F., as he has announced his intention to restrict or "destroy" the pharmaceutical industry

@KonradM That's right, statements like that can cause unrest. Nevertheless, I believe that UnitedHealth is well positioned. They are not only dependent on the pharmaceutical industry, but are also strong in other areas such as insurance and healthcare services. In addition, healthcare expenditure will continue to grow in the long term - such challenges could even be an opportunity to position the company even better

And destroy the healthcare industry.
Who will then bring out new drugs? If the pharmaceutical industry is doing badly, there will be less research.
On the subject of health insurers, many presidents have already tried to make this more citizen-friendly in the USA. So far, none have been successful.
I myself have half a position in UnitedHealth. I can't yet say whether I will buy more in the near future.

@melly-m Well, the designated health minister of the USA has already hinted at a few things that he wants to implement. But we will have to wait and see how much of this actually happens.

@KonradM Lauterbach didn't manage that either. And Robert F. is hardly going to bring Obamacare 2.0 to life.

@PaulRoessler I'm quite relaxed about it. As you say, demand in the healthcare sector will grow. That is logical and unavoidable. Of course, the industry may do better or worse in some countries than in others. UnitedHealth benefits regardless of which insurance system the USA has. Germany also has statutory health insurance. In the USA, this is called Obamacare. United Health also offers this. So it doesn't really matter whether private or statutory insurance models prevail in the USA.
