EM ETFs are mmn a must ...in 20-30 years everything will pay off

@user73972ed9d0334e19 Only then at the very latest!
@Joehart Why not? The EM are not stupid, but are also learning more and more about how to develop and manufacture products that are just as good as the developed countries and market them locally, e.g. smartphones or electric cars. And this is exactly what will slow down the growth of the dev markets, because the sales markets in India, China, etc. are collapsing. Growth is never infinite in globalization: If, for example, Apple only produces expensive smartphones instead of inventing something really innovative like the iPhone in 2006, then many will switch to cheaper alternatives, which will slow down Apple's growth. The same applies to Tesla+Co.

@MargenKing Which one are you buying?

@Aktienpilot_Youtube new ones issued since December 2023. So the old returns are superfluous! I think the weighting is brilliant. Especially since countries like Saudi Arabia have also been kicked out...

@MargenKing exciting! 2 points with 10 million volume mikrig and 25% Taiwan you are eig also at the eggs of China :/ But in any case exciting values inside

@Aktienpilot_Youtube Of course, 10 million is relatively fresh. But for me it's the only sensible way to get started without China. My weighting is 13.5%, which is already relatively relevant ... small caps with 5%

If you want to bet on emerging markets in the long term, then this is a good buying opportunity!

@DividendCop yes, that's the question of whether I want that, I'm unsure 🤔😅

@Aktienpilot_Youtube You can only answer that yourself.

@DividendCop That's right, that's why I asked around to get some inspiration for this decision.

I also see these uncertainties more as an opportunity as an investor. In the whole discussion about countries and sectors within an index, it is always forgotten: The weightings are constantly changing. After all, the USA has not always been the largest market in the MSCI World. About 30 years ago it was Japan, for example.
China was also already more strongly represented in the EM index. So if everything really does go down the drain there permanently, it will also fall in the index. That is also a reason for me to invest in ETFs. This rebalancing happens automatically👌

I have the $XMME in my portfolio myself, but am considering switching to the $EIMI soon in favor of greater diversification.

No offense meant, but the mere fact that you ask this question is the answer in itself. I have found this time and time again with myself. If you seriously doubt your own fundamental doctrines, it is probably a good or very good investment opportunity...

@TP I think it's perhaps a bit too simplified / too general

@PowerWordChill not worried about China? The economy there seems to be crumbling further and further
immagine del profilo
@Aktienpilot_Youtube That's why you take one without China if you want to avoid the chaos. Franklin has had one on offer since December

@PowerWordChill I understand the speculation, but I don't trust the Chinese. I'm just saying inflated balance sheets and ghost towns

@PowerWordChill yes, they say you should buy when there is blood on the streets, maybe now is the time... but I'm really unsure because the geopolitical situation is also bad
