For some time now, I have also been considering integrating an ETF in the gaming sector into my portfolio. I think the Van Eck Vector Video Gaming and E Sports ETF has exciting securities: With $700 (-0,82%) ,$N/A and $NTDOY (+0,71%) as well as an issue volume of 670 million euros, it is definitely interesting. What is your opinion? Do you have alternatives in your portfolio? 🎮

Attractive, but for me too high China exposure, which I do not want and too little diversified for an ETF. I prefer to pack my favorites as individual stocks and concentrate on hardware and software manufacturers.

Is my only industry / sector ETF and he tears now also nothing off but find there are some interesting companies in it and also companies that I would not individually now besparen. But in the ETF is represented everything from Nvidia, Tencent & TakeTwo, Nintendo to EA, Ubisoft, CD Projekt have just in each ETF any cucumbers. In my eyes, an interesting industry with so much choice and potential one has "China risk" but if you invest you know it before. For me personally the best alternative to be represented in this sector.

I don't have an alternative and don't currently plan to add anything like this to my portfolio, even though this is still one of the more attractive sector ETFs 😅

In my opinion nonsense because I do not necessarily want to have every game company in the depot... Would rather pick out a few myself. Also rather the companies that are needed to play games and not those that develop games.

Just take Nvidia, AMD, Sony and Microsoft and that's it. There is also a lot of garbage in there.

There are too many cucumbers in there for me, and that's why I prefer to bet on individual titles. (In my case Tencent, since I can also use it to pick up Paradox Interactive).

Shy away from "sector ETF's." Rather go into individual stocks, mostly in the whole ETF's are always the same big tech stocks.
