@Metis yes, BUT:
this is partly for safety reasons.

I used to work for a medical company where patient data was often sent by fax because the transmission is very secure.
In addition, the fax has developed further, for example, there are digital inboxes.

So there are good reasons to still use fax, especially as email is a rather insecure medium in comparison. 😘

@Metis unfortunately I don't know either, but I suspect for the same reason. Financial data is also sensitive.

@Metis partly? When I look at my tax office, a telephone number and 4 fax numbers on the letterhead, but NO email address...🤷‍♂️🙈

@Metis what does everyone here have against fax xD so I think it's great - it counts legally like a registered letter but doesn't cost as much and is immediate, for such things (government offices etc) it's really great

@__FunFun__ For modern people who do everything online, that's really old-fashioned. And for the two times a year when I have to deal with the authorities, I don't really want to need an extra device for communication. :D
