Hi dear community,

After some thought, I have decided to sell my German shares. I had already decided for some time that I wanted to get rid of Bayer. But now there are also $MBG (-0,07%) and $PAH3 (+0,42%) have been added. I've had these up to now to diversify because of my large US holding. However, the current times make me doubt whether the EU and especially Germany are still competitive at all. I myself am a professional soldier and am glad that Trump won. You can think what you like about him, but his "America First" principle means that the EU will finally have to think about 1. the military and 2. the economy. I am of the opinion that an alliance like the EU should not become so dependent on America. I may now turn my attention to China and turn away from European companies for the time being.

Let me know if you share my opinion or not :)

Best regards

Right now I am adding to these shares as I am planning for the long term. I've been buying stocks and crypto worldwide for 2 months. As for Trump, the bubble will burst. I'm sticking to my strategy.

You can see Trump however you like. Initially, he may very likely have a positive impact on prices. In the longer term, his tariffs could also backfire in terms of inflation and interest rates. We will see. German equities are not an issue at the moment, at least not for me. The next 6 to 12 months will show. Germany will continue to muddle along, Merz will get into bed with the Greens or the SPD, the climate catastrophe will accelerate, but I am referring to the investment climate, and that will become even more bitter here. But things could turn out very differently 🤷‍♂️😇😉. I am dividend-oriented and therefore much more boringly positioned and take a more relaxed view of the situation. If I were looking for growth, then I'm with you on putting D at the back and expanding the US share. China would be too uncertain for me

Share your opinion and your profession. Sold Bayer a long time ago (at a loss). Also have crypto which is clearly up. See good returns in the US in the short and medium term and in China in the long term. The EU and Germany are in a very deep crisis. Acceptance of the EU (politically) among the population is falling, as is acceptance of politics here in Germany. I hope that in 4 to 6 years we in Germany will either turn the corner or become insignificant in the global economy. I think Trump is the right man at the right time.

$MBG and $VOW3 are still lying around as corpses. I missed the time to sell. But will also be sold during the next small green wave

The winner takes it all.
The USA is becoming ever more powerful, richer, etc. through the allocation of money.
Just surf the wave until it bangs :)

I also sold my Bayer shares last week (with a loss of over 50%). It's my memorial for myself

I'm also considering doing the same and selling (↓ 57% ) because it just doesn't do any good

Thanks for the transparency 🙌

$MBG is simply a cyclical stock, which you prefer to buy cheaply when things are going badly (e.g. now) and sell it again, if at all, when it is at its peak. In the long term, I am convinced that MB will get back on its feet. Until then, however, they are welcome to plummet to €30 again 😉

I wouldn't do anything with 10 Bayer shares. Keep them and let them run. From a position size of 5 to 10 thousand euros, you can think about it for a moment.
