$PETR4 (-0,12%) sees the possibility of paying additional dividends this year

Brazilian state oil company Petrobras believes it is "technically possible" to pay special dividends by the end of the year if its strategic plan is approved on schedule this month, its chief financial officer said on Friday.

During a conference call with analysts, Fernando Melgarejo said management will evaluate possible special dividends for 2024 along with the strategic plan.

@GoDividend well the group is not doing so badly now...free cash flow of approx. 8.71 billion US$...last quarter 1.09 billion US$ more than expected and what is good for the state does not necessarily have to be bad for the shareholders 😉
