They have probably booked future profits as actual profits. This is of course accounting fraud. But it depends on whether super Micro grows at the same rate, then it will go back.
The question is why they did this, because they can no longer withstand the competition?
Who should be the best judge of this if not the management itself?
@DusselDuck but that has now shattered the performance in my portfolio a little. and by selling I have now made Christian Lindner happy. But Buffet says: if you're not prepared to hold a share for more than 10 years, then you shouldn't even think about owning it for 10 minutes.
Also had a similar high return and reinvested the profit on Ath, unfortunately a very large loss since then. But I'm still holding on to the share, in the worst case only the loss pot would be filled. Can't come to terms with the fact that this is the end of SMCI in the worst case.
