My dears,
After I've spent an intensive 10 minutes familiarizing myself with the subject of altcoins, I'm going to take a small punter position for the upcoming altcoin bull run.
Joking aside. I didn't realize how far some crypto projects are already and that there is more than just meme coins with cute dog logos 😅
The market is becoming better regulated, growing strongly and the applications are becoming really useful. There are real well-known customers who are already using some projects. It's crazy what has passed me by due to the ignorant rejection that this is all scam (of course there is a lot of scam).
There are actually companies behind the serious projects. (I didn't know that 😂)
Blackrock $BLK has also been working on the tokenization of assets (e.g. real estate) for some time. In parallel, they have $BTC (+1,63%) ukd crypto at the time but still bad-mouthed 😅 -> seems very calculating
$BAND (+2,15%) as the biggest competitor to $LINK (+5,2%) only on the faster and cheaper Cosmos blockchain. They are working on getting validated data onto the blockchain and connecting APIs.
Possible use case, for example: An automated sports betting platform where stakes are placed and then paid out to the winner(s) after validation.
This is just a crude example and can be applied to anything.
Let's see what happens. Total loss is of course possible, but also manageable given the size of the position.
How many developers are now working on it is also impressive.
$CHZ (+3,09%) e.g. is also exciting. They are working together with major sports clubs (FC Barcelona is said to be one of them) and then tokenize profits for the fan club. (I haven't delved any deeper into this, but meet & greets with the players have probably already been awarded, etc.).
It's all high risk, of course, but I would now classify it more along the lines of "start-up investments in the technological age". The risk is almost identical.
My conclusion: You definitely don't have to do it, you can burn your fingers extremely quickly (just like with startup investing). But if you are aware of the risk and classify it for yourself, you can play it. However, I would no longer say the crude badmouthing ala "it's all just scam and bullshit gambling". It's more like closing your eyes to reality - and that's never a good thing.
P.S. The only thing I see as critical is the danger posed by quantum computers, although it should be a long time before private individuals get access to something like that. And according to supposed experts, fir blockchain can be better protected with these devices so that there is no danger - but I really can't judge that.
Greetings
