New position in my portfolio: L&G Clean Energy ETF

My investment thesis is based on the difficult market situation with regard to growth companies in the previous year. Renewable energy shares, which are mainly growth companies, were rightly punished by high interest rates and interest rate fears.

I expect interest rates to fall quickly worldwide next year and hope that this will lead to above-average returns in a punished megatrend ETF in the medium to long term.

Why ETF?

I am assuming an overall market recovery and will possibly only invest with a lower weighting in individual companies in this area. I can weight the ETF higher without much analysis in order to minimize the risk of individual companies.
