Ok correct 40% not USA. That was my mistake. The ftse is already well diversified with 60 USA/40 rest and then an EM.
Would be too diversified for me, you will probably leave a lot of returns behind. Especially as the ftse is not a good etf for me anyway. Or rather, I can't quite understand why it's so much hype here, there are much better etfs
