Hello dear community,

I am 21 years old and have been active on the stock market for about a year, sometimes more actively, sometimes more passively, depending on how much money is left over in addition to the savings plan. I follow the classic core satellite strategy with 70% in ETFs and 30% in equities. The aim is to get volume into the portfolio and reach €100,000.

At the moment I'm in training and live at home and can save €450 per month with a savings plan and a little extra from time to time.

At the moment I do it as follows:

220€ in $IWDA (-0,11%)

95€ in $EIMI (+0,38%)

67€ in $MSFT (-1,26%)

67€ in $ALV (-0,59%)

I still have about 2000€ left that I would like to invest, does it make sense with such a sum in relation to the portfolio to invest it all at once or spread over 2/3 months, I just don't have the experience to know.

From next year I'll be studying and won't be able to save as much, so I'm a bit unsure about the strategy. Does it make more sense to switch completely to the 70/30 strategy or to stick with the strategy with my goal in mind?

I am open to tips and suggestions for improvement.

Thank you very much :)

At your age, I would invest a100% in shares.
But of course you have to buy the right stocks

@salvo89ari I would go for a 70% shares 30% etfs, those are the building blocks of the portfolio

@salvo89ari Which shares are the right ones for me to part with my $VWCE? 😁

@GreenWash yes brother you have to do your homework
Fundamental analysis on every stock you want to buy
Very important 💪
@salvo89ari Can you beat the market? Hardly anyone can... It makes total sense to pursue a 70/30 strategy. Better to see how you can invest more - side hustle, mini-job, whatever.

Pour the 2000,- into the Core Etf without mercy.

Cost average effect <- answers whether it is worthwhile for you to buy in monthly tranches.

As a guideline, I would first say that you should try to place 10k on your Core Etf and then build on it.

Why 70/30 and not all-world?
It would save me the transaction costs of rebalancing while you are still so young and haven't been investing in ETFs for decades.
@GreenWash as I think that India and China will play an important role in the future and therefore want to give it a higher weighting

@Max1102 Then stick to your approach if you've given it some thought 🙂
