Tends to be a good move for unity (had shorted the stock after the prices were announced) the problem though is that the damage has already been done. In the long run indie developers (small studios) will probably switch to Godot (Foss Software). Glass ball: if the Apple Vision $$$ is really successful, I can also imagine Apple buying Unity.
