Investing.com - Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) disclosed a notable investment in its 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the second quarter of 2024. The bank invested $187.79 million in BlackRock (NYSE:BLK)'s spot Bitcoin ETF. This makes Morgan Stanley one of the five largest shareholders in the BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest spot Bitcoin ETF with a total market value of 20 billion dollars."°1

"The annual fees charged by issuers can also contribute to capital attraction. BlackRock has set its fee for the iShare ETF at 0.12% for the first 12 months, or up to $5 billion in assets under management, and then plans to increase it to 0.25%."°2

Blech Rock is making money from the product 😜

I'm really looking forward to the 2025 reporting season and finding out how much they have earned and will earn with the product.

Another small addition

BlackRock conquers the crypto throne

With assets under management now totaling USD 21.22 billion, BlackRock is pulling away from the crypto ETF competition. Grayscale is beaten.
