Almost all shipping companies reported lavish special dividends due to utopian freight rates (China's zero-covid strategy, massively disrupted supply chains, container ships stuck in the Suez Canal, etc.). This year, all shipping companies that operate container shipping can definitely expect significantly lower rates.
