$LILM (+4,41%) is facing financial challenges. So far, losses of 1.446 billion euros have accumulated, while turnover is almost zero. In the first half of 2024, the operating loss amounted to 185.9 million euros, but the net loss was 86.9 million euros due to positive revaluations. The company still has EUR 110 million in cash at mid-year and is negotiating with the federal government and Bavaria for financial aid, which could soon be approved. Investors have already pledged 32 million euros, depending on government support.

Despite the financial situation, Lilium is reporting progress in the development of its e-aircraft, which is to be used as a small vertical take-off aircraft. Three models are already complete or in production, and the fourth model is scheduled to go into production in the first half of 2025. A milestone has been reached with the "power-on" of the first model, which confirms the functionality of the power grid.
