Take a look back at a summary of the China military exercise in fall 2022.

Buffett then sold his Taiwan SemiCon. position in early 2023.

We can't reflect the political risk in the price, a company would have to be absurdly cheap for that. (Which would be tantamount to an imminent invasion, so you might as well leave it alone, whether it happens or not)

I was recently in China on a business trip and spoke to some locals. They think that China can't afford a war against Taiwan and its consequences economically and that the population doesn't yet have the support to implement something like that. But who knows what will really happen - the politicians will do what they want anyway. 🏢💬🤷‍♂️
