Why do you buy a weak stock? Burnt yield.

@El_Riemo I do not understand the question. What is weak? The share price or the company itself? Because sales and profits are currently not meeting expectations? Please explain your "burnt" return. Do you only buy at the peak like many others here? How do you generate returns, only when the price is rising and the news is good?
@Wellenreiter "Entry prices like 2020" - this alone shows that the share is not strong and therefore not worth buying. Keyword: opportunity costs.

@El_Riemo aha, great example Tesla. How did the share price develop here? I bought in February at the price of 2020. What do you say about the Nvidia share price? Opportunity costs, honestly. So you have a crystal ball?
@Wellenreiter No, Tesla is a very bad example. Because it is driven by hypes and emotionally charged. What criteria do you use to buy stocks? Do you do a technical analysis? Or do you just buy because it's cheap, which is nonsense.

@El_Riemo Do you want me to find you more examples? Opportunity costs are complete nonsense. Take a look at my site. Have already made a few ideas😉 zb $III and $MUM comes to mind spontaneously. If you could read, you would already know from this post here that I do not just buy because cheap. So tell me now rather times something well-founded to Steico which is not known to me
@Wellenreiter something you don't know about Steico...hm ok. Apparently you don't know that the stock is in an active downtrend without forming a bottom. Therefore totally uninteresting for an investment. Has made 68% since 2007 and 20% in the last 5 years. What kind of poor performance is that please?

@El_Riemo I was thinking of info on Steico's business, portfolio etc. Great brief consideration with what info?. have a nice sunny Sunday dir🌞
@Wellenreiter Boy, what do I care? The trend sets the direction. If it's only been going sideways / only downwards / hardly any return for years, then I don't even need to look at the business and the model...because it's not interesting.

@El_Riemo then thank you for your input "boy
