McDonald's… oh, McDonald's... 📈🍔

More than two months I just $MCD (-0,06 %) . My goal was to increase the position to €8,000 … Goal achieved, and now I even want to reach €10,000 mark.

Ever since I added the company to my portfolio , I’ve been looking at it through the Lynch lens and am pleasantly amazed amazed at just how incredibly well the restaurants are doing. Cars are lining up at the drive-thru, and the outdoor seating is full!!

That’s exactly what I’d expect as an investor want to see.

I’m really impressed about this company and would like to hold McDonald’s as one of my core holdings in my portfolio.

@opathomas You know the drill😉

I’m Lovin’ It .. badabababaa🍟

Do you have MCI in your portfolio?

I actually have that too, but I'm going to wind down the position bit by bit and shift the funds into a dividend ETF—it gives me less of a stomachache than McDonald's.

@nitroxx Sometimes it's worth waiting and not constantly checking. Then the reallocation might be easier.
@nitroxx Don't do it. When it comes to long-term investing: Hold on t $MCD, and go buy yourself a burger! 🤘🏽😎 . Says someone who bought the first ones back in 1985 😊.

@Gomerdoc Experience speaks for itself☝🏽🙌🏼
@PoorDad That’s actually true. Unfortunately, my financial means were quite limited back then, so I proudly held the four shares I bought at the time as my first stocks in my own portfolio.
But here’s the thing: the stock price you’re looking at today is the result of 7 (!) 1-for-2 stock splits over the last 40 years.
If they hadn’t artificially halved the price a total of seven times, a single share would be trading at astronomical levels today.

Nevertheless: the price gain is simply awesome. The long-term performance: awesome. The personal dividend yield: awesome.

@Gomerdoc I wish I could still be this excited about McDonald's 30 years from now.

I also think McDonald's is totally awesome, and I just upgraded my membership this year. For me, it's an incredibly powerful combo along with Coca-Cola.

@Alumdria The two of them, hand in hand

I've had $MCD in my long-term savings plan portfolio for 3 years.
When I retire, I'll check to see how it's done ^^

@Artiskon A lot will happen between now and retirement… I actually think the company will double in value a few more times… I'm very optimistic

@Danicx13 When is Krosse Krabbe going public? I'll be the first investor!😂😂

$MCD For me, this is the position with the largest initial investment. So I completely agree with you: it's an absolutely sensible core position.

I want to get in on this, too, but I hope we'll see prices move toward 200.

@Robin2100 In my opinion, McDonald's is performing too well operationally for this level... as much as I'd like you to be right

You're doing everything right with McDonald's. It's a stock that lets you sleep soundly. I now have 440 shares across my two portfolios.

@opathomas You're absolutely right! I can even feel that McDonald's vibe just driving by 🦾 If I had a 6-figure investment in McDonald's, I'd feel right at home too 😂🚀

@opathomas It definitely pays a good dividend. 🍔

@Sulli That's right...👍

I'm invested too, and I plan to hold it for the long term; I regularly reinvest my dividends. Every time there's a payout, I treat myself to a Big Tasty. Does that actually count as reinvesting? 😂

@KoenigsRasse The burgers will find their way back to you! 🤩

Nope, I didn't buy it decades ago.
Personally, I avoid fast food, and the stock price has been trading sideways for years.
As a dividend stock, it's OK!

@Smudeo I would have thought that, of all people, you'd have a McDonald's in Porto, too…
I have a $300 warrant (Jan. 2028)

@market_sage_2973 I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, my friend! 🚀

I feel the same way—it feels good when, as an investor, you see how the company is doing while you're spending your McDonald's dividend 😂

It's just a classic—I could definitely see it in my portfolio. The only thing is, the actual yield on these blue-chip stocks isn't usually very high. If you have more time to let the dividend growth catch up, it's definitely a great choice. Good luck! 😉
