Now I have one Bitcoin in my portfolio

As I announced just under two months ago, I’ve been restructuring my portfolio over the past few weeks.

I sold 11 individual stock positions, realizing a profit of about 10k.

I invested a portion of the freed-up funds in several installments into $BTC (+5,93 %) , and the rest went into ETFs.

Yesterday morning, I purchased the final tranche and have now reached a full Bitcoin.


Well, now let’s see if that was a smart move...

@DonkeyInvestor Actually, I'm still thinking about whether I should sell the remaining 5 individual stocks and invest the proceeds in BTC (they're worth about 50k), but for now I'll wait and see where this goes...

That was very smart :)
It gave me a huge boost four years ago, and this year I'm going to take the idle funds out of my portfolio again and shift them into BTC.

@Simpson Well, the real value of BTC is certainly up for debate, but the same goes for many stocks, gold, or really any asset class.
Everyone invests where they see the best opportunities and feel comfortable. To each their own...
I think your strategy is good, too—as are Epis’s or others’, for example—but I’m not so keen on some others... And I just have my own strategy...😊

@dividend_dynamo_wtbrk Yeah, I would have posted it anyway. And as I said, I had already announced the plan two months ago... I post my losses, too... And yeah, BTC has been rising unexpectedly for the past two days, but my main portfolio has been deep in the red all week...😉
