ASML ($ASML (+1,63 %) ) recently launched its latest chip manufacturing system the High-NA Extreme Ultraviolet System, with a price tag of 380 million US dollars.

This investment is for chip manufacturersthat benefit from AI development development. Intel ($INTC (-1,04 %) ) has already placed orders.

ASML is the sole manufacturer of such sophisticated semiconductor equipment. The machine makes it possible to produce lines with a thickness of only 8 nanometers which increases the transistor density.
