German Auto Stocks as a Barometer of German Sentiment

I think many of you have $VOW (+1,86 %)
$P911 (-0,12 %) invested. The hoped-for turnaround hasn’t materialized yet, and I no longer believe that anything fundamental will change in Germany 🇩🇪. I’m still most optimistic about $BMW (-1,64 %)

So I’m going to sell my shares.

What are your thoughts on this?

No, I got out almost two years ago. The writing was already clearly on the wall back then......At the very latest, after the dividend cuts, we should have pulled the plug. Anyone who’s still invested—it’s their own fault!!! Not an investment for me for at least the next 5 years!!!

I don't see the automotive industry in Germany anymore. Just look at what the Chinese are putting on the market. It's a completely different pricing structure. No wonder they drive their own cars, too.

A year ago, I shifted my holdings in $VOW to $RACE. In addition to $RACE, I also hold $1211 and $TSLA in ETFs, and that's it for the auto industry.

@Dukke I also own shares in $RACE and $1211.
I'll probably sell my VW and Porsche shares now, too, and maybe even increase my holdings in $1211.

@ScalpingSteve $RACE Highest profit margins in the auto industry—not premium, but luxury, where prices play a secondary role—and BYD as the biggest winner in the electric car race. These are the reasons why I'm invested in both.

I sold my shares in VW, BMW, and Stelantis at a small loss. I was just fed up with how they missed the trend. In the end, everyone has to decide for themselves what to do with their stocks.
