Nestlé – Growth Is Finally Coming from Volume

On October 22, Nestlé reported organic sales growth of 4.0% for Q3 2026. Particularly encouraging: Volume growth reached 2.8%—a sign that demand is picking up again. The full-year forecast remains at 3–4% growth and over CHF 9 billion in free cash flow. However, the loss of control over the Russian business is expected to increase net debt by CHF 0.9 billion.

My assessment: Strong brands remain the moat. Now the company must $NESN (-1,68 %) prove that higher sales will translate into sustainably higher profits. For me, Nestlé remains a core investment, a pillar of my value portfolio, and currently my largest consumer staples company (what a word).
