Personally, I would stay away from SpaceX in the first few months anyway! There will certainly be a lot of hype and the share price will shoot up in the short term, but the big question is: when do you take the profits? I'd rather keep my hands off it and hope that $RKLB benefits from it 😉

@BavarianLion I wouldn't just focus on $RKLB, with $PL and $OHB etc. there are other promising candidates and you have a somewhat broader base in this still sensitive sector

@GHF Yes, you're certainly right, but I don't want to focus solely on the space sector right now! For now, $RKLB is enough for me 🚀

@BavarianLion I have recently added $JEDI to my portfolio and use it as a savings plan for this area.

@Multibagger I've just had a look at it, exciting stuff! Maybe I'll get into it too! Space travel will be a big factor in the next few years anyway, I think! 🚀👍

@Multibagger I also have this after I realized that there are too many exciting companies in the sector.

@BavarianLion but this will be the sector par excellence. 🤷‍♂️

Or in $GOOG which is invested in both SpaceX and Anthropic 😊

The space sector will also perform well this year. In addition to the power projection, the SpaceX IPO is the second major driver - I have already invested 10% of my portfolio in the space sector.
Although I'm a big fan of Elon Musk, I'm staying away from the IPO. It's too risky for me with Elon, I've worked too hard for my money. 😢.
But I hope that the IPO will give the space sector as a whole another significant boost... 📈

have been invested in $SMT since mid-2024 and things have been going slowly but steadily uphill; with the SpaceX IPO now comes the worries

@CaYaRo Why worry, you only have to wait until you know whether there are lock deadlines and how long they are.
image de profil
@Multibagger ok, let's call it considerations
I am concerned with the question of how much of SpaceX is now priced in at $SMT; like almost every IPO, SpaceX will probably go down a lot, which will inevitably drag down everyone who is invested;

@CaYaRo It will go up at the beginning, and it will go up strongly, because everyone wants to be there and the free float will be low. And then you should get out before the end of the look-up period. That's my expectation
