Why keep the weeds and cut the flowers?

Since I'm an amateur botanist, I'm getting rid of the weeds… At least I was able to offset the emotional toll with the tax refund from the loss and the dividends I received.

@jkb92 Even if the stock goes up again… I get heartburn every time I see that a single company can drag the portfolio down like that. I put too much money into the wrong stock.

@userc818a6f2df6247c9 Sorry for the late reply, but I know it seems contradictory at first glance—I think the GIS market is already very saturated, especially since the peer group is selling better or more popular products. I already own shares in $MDLZ and $PEP, which I consider to be the better alternatives. With Elopak, on the other hand, I think the company still has plenty of room for growth with its business model, especially now that it has begun expanding in the U.S.

Yes, they're having problems. Yes, the chart doesn't look good. Yes, yes, yes, BUT the P/E and P/B ratios are extremely low, and the stock has simply been beaten down...

@DividendenMax The KBV is of no use to me if its products are performing worse than those of its peers… $MDLZ $PEP $ULVR, etc. I used to like GIS as a company, but as things stand now, I think other companies are better positioned to recover than GIS.
