Hello my dears,
Mahindra has been on my watch for some time due to its potential in agricultural machinery.
The Batmobile could perhaps now be a reason to get in.
What do you think of India?
Feel free to share your opinion in the comments.
Indian car manufacturer Mahindra recently unveiled its new electric SUV, the BE 6 Batman Edition. The collector's item is strictly limited and is already sold out.
The Dark Knight trilogy is one of the world's most successful film series. The three films by star director Christopher Nolan have grossed 2.47 billion US dollars at the box office alone. The focus is on the comic book hero Batman, the alter ego of billionaire Bruce Wayne. As a young boy, he was forced to watch a gangster shoot his parents. In search of revenge and justice, he fights evil in the fictional "Gotham City". As a superhero without superpowers, Batman or "the Dark Knight" stands for intelligence, skill and technical know-how.
With a "rare combination of cinematic tradition and modern luxury", Indian car manufacturer Mahindra now wants to bring this feeling a little closer to its customers. Because the new electric SUV "BE 6 Batman Edition" promises exactly that: innovation, resilience and a relentless drive to push boundaries.
Indian SUV promises electric motor with Batman sound
The "Batman Edition" is a special edition of the BE6 electric SUV from Mahindra. This was unveiled back in 2024 and promises
a 79 kWh battery
A range of up to 550 kilometers
282 HP
380 newton meters of torque
a 3-in-1 drivetrain (210 kW output)
and a level 2 assistance system
According to the manufacturer, the driving experience should catapult car fans straight to Gotham City. In addition to "individual, Batman-inspired engine sounds", Mahindra promises "the thrill of Batman every time you drive."
The Batmobile is available from 27,000 euros - but so far only in India. It is already sold out there.

On the exterior, these include:

Exclusive feel thanks to strictly limited edition
"Some vehicles are built to take you from one place to another. And then there are those that move you," Mahindra advertises the new "Batmobile"
.
However, this special edition will not be moving too many people. Even though Mahindra has already expanded the originally planned 300 vehicles due to the high demand. There will be a maximum of 999 vehicles.
The manufacturer wants to maintain exclusivity: "It's a collector's item on wheels," says Vikram Sharma, Head of Consumer Products at Warner Bros Discovery Asia Pacific, commenting on the partnership.
The first vehicles were delivered in true style on September 20 - known among fans as International Batman Day.
