Partial sale BP

So far one of the largest stocks in my portfolio - the rest of the position continues to graze as a dividend cow.

Congratulations, patience pays off with our bp and even after this increase it is still cheaply valued. It will be interesting to see what management will say with the next figures and what they will do with the extra income. I'll hold on to my 4600 shares

@Sand One good reason for the partial sale was the management of recent years. Billions were sunk into renewal projects, which were then completely shelved with the change of management. In my opinion, BP is lagging far behind other energy companies strategically. Dividends and profits are there, but growth is deliberately being left by the wayside. As a "conservative", this has never been a big problem for me, but this time the opportunity was simply too good.
@DynasticGrind sounds plausible
@Sand Yes, it looks very promising through 2028, and the share price will certainly end up between €8 and €9. Total and Shell are also attractive investments right now.

@Makies Yes, I'm optimistic too; oil will be with us for a very long time, and with the usual fluctuations, the big players are well positioned. I'll be adding Aker BP from Norway to our portfolio during the next downturn. It has low debt and an extremely stable, high dividend, and its valuation is also moderate compared to U.S. companies.

@emppsb It is! Although selling it decreased my earnings from dividends by almost 5%. Goes to show how overweight my portfolio was on $BP.
