Update on Portfolio 2036

Hello, everyone,

Today, there were two additional purchases in Portfolio 2036.

The AI boom is driving up demand for high-performance storage solutions.

AI data centers require large quantities of enterprise SSDs to quickly store and retrieve data. According to Counterpoint, enterprise SSDs for servers already accounted for 43% of the NAND market in the first quarter of 2026.

Kioxia can benefit from this if the company remains competitive in terms of performance, reliability, and cost.

Added to this is the partnership with SanDisk. Both companies engage in joint production and development activities. This helps share high investment costs and maintain technological competitiveness.

The Chinese manufacturer CXMT plays a negligible role in the NAND sector. Therefore, I consider the current sell-off in KIOXIA to be largely unjustified.

@Tenbagger-Capital $AII I have it on my watch, too. But only for 9€.
Let's see if we can get it any cheaper 😇

@1Chrischi1 That would be really great for you.

@1Chrischi1 Would $UUUU be something for you, too? It's entering a very interesting phase if you look at the chart.

It looks promising, but I currently see more potential in tungsten than in uranium.

I'd wait a bit longer; I think both will be available at an even lower price. But of course, they're both solid companies.

@jkb92 KIOXIA will report its earnings at the end of October. We'll see—I hope they're as good as Micron's.

@jkb92 You can always find something cheaper. But life punishes those who are late.

@Tenbagger-Capital That's right. It sounds extreme right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if, as the correction in the sector deepens, we see 10,000 or even 8,000 JPY. There’s a big price gap at that latter level, and there’s a lot of volume there again. But as you say, the numbers could of course turn around and start moving upward again.

@jkb92 A crystal ball would come in handy right now ;)
I'm currently considering whether to invest directly or indirectly in Koxia. For now, the margin of safety is still too low for a direct investment.

@ValueDragon My substitute for a crystal ball is technical analysis (for some, the very epitome of a crystal ball, haha). But I'm pretty satisfied with the results. $285A had risen 4,500% in the year leading up to that. A correction like that isn't enough for me to jump in just yet.

Eu tenho andando a pensar na $AII se bem que $285A está atrativa , mas creio que um bom resultado nos earnings nao vai ser suficiente para haver subida tal como aconteceu com a $MU . Quais sao as tuas expectativas para $AII ?

What do you think of UEC? It's at the top of my list because of uranium, and because it's rebounded so strongly lately.

@market_maverick_blbta I mean Uranium Energy

And the decline just keeps going, relentlessly :( @Tenbagger-Capital Are you also planning to buy more of your two positions, $INOD and $BW?
