please make a fundamental distinction between ETH and BTC, BTC is a store of value and Ethereum is in an infrastructure-like role.
what we can buy is not Ethereum but Ether, which is used in every interaction as described.
if the use of the Ethereum blockchain increases sharply, more ether will be burned than created, which will reduce supply in the long term, with the same / higher demand = price should rise.
In addition, the staking yield is extremely attractive (3-4%) and the ETFS now offer staking in the USA, so this is something for cash flow investors.
