UnitedHealth shows strength & further upside potential

$UNH (-1,54 %) really delivered in Q3 2025:

  • Revenue: $113.2 bn. (+12% YoY)
  • Adjusted EPS: $2,92, above expectations
  • And the best: Outlook raised! For the full year, management is now targeting EPS of at least $16.25 for the full year.

UnitedHealth is once again showing why it is one of the most stable stocks in the healthcare sector. The business model - insurance + healthcare services - is running smoothly, cost management is in place and the CEO is already talking about a "sustainable growth phase" from 2026.

🧬$REGN (+13,53 %)
& $MRK (+1,66 %)
- what are the others in the sector doing?

$REGN (+13,53 %)
(Regeneron) remains one of the most exciting biotechs around. Strong pipeline, top products like Dupixent, and a lot of fantasy in the areas of oncology & immunology. Of course, biotech is never without risk - but the risk/reward ratio here is definitely attractive.

$MRK (+1,66 %)
(Merck & Co.) is the classic in the sector. With Keytruda Merck continues to dominate the market for cancer drugs (over $25 billion in sales annually). In addition, there are strong vaccines, animal health and stable cash flow. Rather conservative, but very reliable.

I personally strongly believe in the pharma sector and the upside that is still there. Between old strength ($MRK (+1,66 %) ), innovative pipeline power ($REGN (+13,53 %) ) and the solid healthcare base of $UNH (-1,54 %) I see enormous potential in the medium term.

Particularly in times when many tech stocks have run hot, healthcare seems to me to be a mix of stability, growth and real substance - exactly what is convincing in the long term.

However, the stock market is somehow not really honoring this

@Solitair Good things take time. But biotechs can run away quickly. I've been all the way to the top and back. So what?
