Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has said that his country - and southern Europe more broadly - could provide an answer to the shortage of gas supplies from Russia. Sanchez highlighted that Spain provides 37% of the European Union's total regasification capacity - where liquefied natural gas is converted back into the final product, natural gas. 2. Airbnb to terminate its China business

Like most of its competitors, the home-sharing titan is shifting its focus to overseas business in China. The American company had high hopes when it entered China in 2016. It was once a popular choice for foreign tourists and Western-educated Chinese travelling the country. 3. Bolsonaro fires Petrobras CEO

Brazil’s president, Jair Bolsonaro has fired the CEO of oil producer Petrobras $PETR4 (+1,24 %) , who is his second victim in two months. This comes after the company refused to sell fuel at a discount to consumers, warning of potential diesel shortages. Bolsonaro has also called for the election of a new board. Despite private investors owning more than 60% of the Petróleo Brasileiro $PETR4 (+1,24 %) , the Brazilian government controls the company.
