Oh well, there has to be a bit of excitement and fun. Therefore, as announced on the WE, short on $NOVO B (-0,99 %)

Very good. I also went short on novo. What leverage did you use? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you/us

I lack a bit of an overview of how and whether Novo is affected at all by the current threats due to the production facilities and the announced expansion of production in the USA.

@TomTurboInvest I think that it won't even matter how deeply they are affected - just the fact that it is the biggest Danish company will give rhetorical fodder for Trump to drop the share prices...

@Roccola601 I can't estimate it either. Maybe that was the panic dip today?

@TomTurboInvest I think they are ripe for a correction even without tariffs. The threat to Danish companies will hopefully make it even more severe.

@TomTurboInvest I don't care which dip comes, the main thing is that it comes. And I'm convinced of that.

@Multibagger Then I hope for your sake that the dip comes before the stop loss 😉

@TomTurboInvest I don't trust either of them to rise another 10% before then.

What has actually happened to the silver short?

@HenningtonGlobal he ran into the SL

I also bought it this afternoon. Another crash tomorrow, the first retail buyers will arrive on Wednesday, then it will go down again. At the weekend they'll come closer
hope returns on Monday, smart money gets in and it's solved before 1.2. That's the plan :D

@MaxtheCat and the figures will be published on04.02.

image de profil
@Multibagger So I assume that you will hold the certificate until at least 04.02.?
1
image de profil
@schlimmschlimm No, that depends on how the share performs until then. If it falls by more than 10% by then, there may also be a positive reaction to the figures. If, on the other hand, it remains at the current level until then, I will hold on to the bond, as I then expect a sell on good news even if the figures are good.

Where do you set your stop loss?
@Multibagger and what leverage are you using? I basically had the same idea, but I don't know exactly which lever I should use and where the stop loss should go
image de profil
@capital_captain_2693 not at all. I have quite a lot of room to run until the KO and I don't trust the share to do so after last week's rally.

@Multibagger Which lever did you use then?

@Multibagger Knock out for the Novo bill is 56.30 € and for ASML 1,291.27 or? Have you set an SL for ASML?

@Multibagger All clear, actually logical...

@schlimmschlimm not for both.

I try it with $ADS. Also already reacted today and currently in a downtrend anyway

Nobody understands the market either🙄

@Multibagger
Unfortunately, Novo has developed differently than expected today.
I am still relatively new to short trading and trading with leverage.
Will you stay in and hold the short investment or when will you sell it?

@capital_captain_2693 I primarily shorted it because I assume that it will start to take profits with the figures on February 4 due to sell good news or falling profit margins.
@Multibagger But the 04.02 is still a long time away, until then they can theoretically continue to rise, then the one sell-off won't do you any good
image de profil
@capital_captain_2693 That can happen. I might also swap the bond beforehand if the share rises further. I will decide spontaneously if the share rises above DKK 400 beforehand.
The bond is currently down 18% in my portfolio. This is nothing for short-term speculation. The leverage is 13, which means that a drop in the share price of around 2% already brings the bond back into the black. If you trade such certificates, you have to withstand these fluctuations, including possible total losses.
