Which platform to buy Bitcoin on?

Dear Community,

Unfortunately, buying BTC seems extremely expensive to me due to the spread (TR) or fees (Coinbase).

Where do you buy? Does anyone here have a good tip?

I am with Bitvavo and also satisfied. Savings plan option, transfer to own wallet, real-time transfer works very well, choice between simple or professional UI, ...

Hey there,
I switched from TR to Bitpanda.
The spread and transaction costs are still expensive, but at least I have the option of transferring my Bitcoins to my own wallet and Bitpanda is very secure and holds real Bitcoins, unlike TR. (Maybe have a look at Finanzfluss crypto exchange comparison, what I have seen and heard is that most people invest with Bitpanda)

Kraken.com (satisfied since 2017). But not normally via the app but Desktop Kraken Pro (free) where there is almost no spread.

@batic420 huhu, are you satisfied with Bitvavo? Is it clear? Also transferable to wallet? I'm happy with Bitpanda so far, but the transaction costs etc. are a bit expensive.

Hey there,
I find the UI very clear both on the web and in the app and it's easy to use. I haven't looked into transferring to Wallet yet, but @Helper84 left a comment on this under the post, so it seems to work too 😉
