Actually, I didn't want to do that—buy Bitcoin again. But I still had a little something $ETH (+1,95 %) I just couldn’t bring myself to part with. With an eye toward a potential holding period, though, I decided to trade my last ETH $BTC (+1,23 %) .
While I was at it, I also cut ties with Binance. It feels good not to have anything left on exchanges. Not quite as good as it was before all those hardware wallet “hacks,” but still good.
But man, have you ever withdrawn anything from Binance? It’s insane. Confirm with a passkey. Confirm with an authenticator. Let the camera film your face (without glasses—it was really hard to follow the instructions while half-blind). Answering tons of questions. Checking a zillion boxes. Insane.
I used TR’s bank transfer feature for the first time yesterday. That was pretty wild, too, until they finally let me transfer money. But not quite as wild as with Binance.
Well, everything’s fine now.
