The path to reason🙂

Hello dear community,

after I took you along on my risky silver long trade and was able to close it with a fat +, here is an update from me.

At that time, these 20,000€ were still 2/3 of my assets, today it is "only" 2/10!

These €20,000 have been reinvested as a long-term investment

flowed back into the "more boring" silver😅

(holding period will be at least 5, more likely 10 years)

What would you do with the other €80,000 if you were in my situation?

About me: 21 years old, employed, living with my parents, spending around €500 a month

Savings rate is approx. 1000€

Please let me know in the comments!

Best regards

Your SilverSpeculatius

Silver is correcting violently after the steep rise...
I don't want to hope for you, but it would be funny if you had bought the top. 😅

@TotallyLost even if it were to correct now, I wouldn't really care, as I said, keep it for the next few years

@SilberSpekulatius and if it was the top for many years? But no big deal. Sometimes you're the dog. Sometimes you're the tree

@DonkeyInvestor think due to the geopolitical situation it is very unlikely that this is it

@SilberSpekulatius I think differently. But I'm also a donkey in a duck costume
image de profil
@DonkeyInvestor I don't rate the look😂
How do you think it goes on?
image de profil
@SilberSpekulatius everything is doomed 👍.

And seriously: I can't imagine silver following in the footsteps of gold

@DonkeyInvestor but i that $ETH steps into that of $BTC 😘
image de profil
@TotallyLost into the footprints filled with donkey poop perhaps
image de profil
@DonkeyInvestor I don't think so either.
However, I think that silver is needed in many areas such as industry, AI, PV etc..
Gold too, but it is more of a crisis hedge.

@ScorpionfromBW short-term yes, long-term no

@SilberSpekulatius I have seen many who have thought this way.

@Finanzaristokrat Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I'm fine with it gut✌️

It depends on what your investment goal/investment horizon is, maybe you should think about it so that you can find out for yourself in which direction it can go for you. You could build up a core/satellite/commodity portfolio. I personally find copper extremely interesting for the next 5-10 years. 👍🏼

@Demas Silver Long Trade

Big, BIG mistake 🤦‍♂️

image de profil
@Finanzaristokrat why do you think it will continue?
image de profil
Only you can decide for yourself your savings target, holding period, possible withdrawal plan, risk profile, etc. Basically a solid all-weather portfolio. There are templates for every type.

Buying the top after such a candle is always risky. Nevertheless, good luck!

The iron is definitely too hot for me 🥵

Why are you so focused on silver of all things? Aren't you limiting yourself?
image de profil
@Bezehgombjuderstimme I am simply very convinced of silver because it fulfills a purpose.
I don't think I'm limiting myself if I put 20% of my money into silver, I still have 80% that I can put into other things...

@SilberSpekulatius Ah ok, I just thought from your name that you were planning further investments in silver 😄.

Name is like that because I made my money with it📈

Did you get out in time? It was only a matter of time. And why did you get into the ETC before the correction? I didn't understand that yesterday. Even if you got in for the long term, you got 25% more shares today
image de profil
@Multibagger Greed. I always find it fascinating how people say they are investing for the long term and then sell immediately when the market drops. You can see this in his portfolio as it is public. He has already sold.

@KurwaBober and now he's not getting in touch 🤣 hopefully he got off reasonably lightly.

I hope for him too, of course! I would also like to hear from him. I hope he is doing well under the circumstances.

Here I am my friends🫡

@SilberSpekulatius Well, if you like, tell us how you fared yesterday.
2
image de profil
@Multibagger not so good😂
I had already closed my trade before but still lost good money because I thought I would trade the turnaround right away🙈

@SilberSpekulatius Did you still keep the ETC, which you wanted to get for the long term? You were probably too early.
But the bottom line is that you will still have made good money, all things considered.
